something really cool happened to me but i only know how to put it in like a greentext format

>be me

>having a ton of bad thoughts in the shower

>"Jesus won't forgive you if you do x" type thoughts

>try to focus on the fact that he loves me and is willing to forgive my sins

>something's not clicking for some reason

>suddenly have the song Jesus loves me pop into my head

>can't make the thoughts worse

>start singing

>i have to stop a couple times before finishing the song to try to stop the bad thoughts

>finish the song, thoughts are less bad and i want to continue

>now thinking Jesus loves the little children

>do i count as a child?

>decide that i do

>start singing

>barely get past the first line before i end up crying for a little bit

>like it Hits™

>he loves me

>i sin so much and he loves me

>stop crying after a bit, keep singing

>decide to add on the "politically correct" version from the church that i go to

>singing the part where "every color every race, all are covered by his grace" while actually feeling like i'm included in that

>finish singing that song

>cycle through singing the two songs while i finish my shower
